Making a few changes to the website to get ready for this year's Tournament.
The biggest one is that the site is public... No more specialized logins.
That being said, please keep this site confidential- it's doesn't show up on search engines, and we really want to keep it just internal to the group, so I would appreciate it if you wouldn't share it with anyone not associated with ShotCharting.
Also, I have turned off comments, so that it's is mostly one-way at this time.
The purpose of the 'site it to communicate to the group information you'll need or will find of interest.
After the tournament I'll set it back up for anonymous commenting for feedback and process evaluation.
Meanwhile...
I hope everyone is getting pumped up for this year's Tournament-
Lots of changes- both to the systems, the procedures, and to the Course/Grounds themselves.
I'm currently working through the locations assignments from 2015 and I am putting together a plan for this year based on that info and incorporating results and feedback from several locations.
More on that soon.
We have a few new folks on the team this year, and I think they might be looking for accommodations and perhaps guidance regarding getting to and from the Grounds.
If anyone has any leads or ideas, please let me know and I will try to get folks in contact.
And speaking of getting people together:
As you know we usually get a limited number of parking passes and encourage carpooling/ride-sharing.
If you have an established group, please let me know by email.
Prioritizing for parking stickers is as follows:
1 - Anyone with 4 or more people in their vehicle
2 - 3 people in one car.
3 - 2 people in one car.
If there are parking passes left, they will be assigned on a "Needs"-based priority.
During training on Sunday we will hand out all the info packets, meal tickets and other info needsd for this year. Make sure you are at the training session for our presentation and the hands-on experience. It's critical that everyone attend.
Thanks-
TBG
